The Kincardine Scottish Festival & Highland Games is a longstanding tradition in lakeside Kincardine, proudly celebrating its 19th year in 2018. Scottish heritage and culture will take over historic Victoria Park and Kincardine’s scenic downtown core with pipe bands, heavy events, Highland dancing and internationally-known musical acts.
There’s something for the whole family to enjoy! This year the Scottish Festival is proud to welcome Finger Eleven, Albannach, The Screaming Orphans and much more in concert in addition to a number of other entertaining musical acts throughout the weekend. Albannach returns to Victoria Park all the way from Scotland. The sounds of Scotland will echo across town with over 30 pipe bands competing on Saturday as Highland dancers and heavy competitors compete in venues across Kincardine. Regalia and food vendors hail from across the province with Celtic-themed wares such as pottery, jewelry and clothing. The festival continues with the Bairn’s (children’s) program with games, activities, and of course, a full day of live music for the whole family to dance to on Sunday.
